Portrait Photography

The Studio

In portrait photography I try to capture the personality of the subject(s) in way that celebrates and flatters. This can take considerable patience and requires the right environment where people can relax and enjoy the experience, even if they are not always comfortable being on front of the camera. My purpose built studio provides a comfortable location, where we take our time achieving this.

Portraits on location is also an option should that be more comfortable or more appropriate for the sitting in question.

Sittings are never rushed and take as long as is needed. Although this usually takes between 1 and 2 hours, often shorter if there are younger children involved.

Post Production

The post production phase is generally used to help realise the image as originally planned and executed. This phase also allows us to remove any presence in the images that was logically unavoidable during the production.

Images may be delivered in a variety of formats depending on the needs of the client.
